Cheetah Outreach is an education and conservation-based facility that partners with cheetah and other animal Ambassadors to offer a unique personal experience in order to raise awareness and promote cheetah conservation. We have a range of unique activities for you to take part in or just meander your way around our facility and spend some time watching our various Ambassador animals. All encounters and experiences are undertaken according to comprehensive safety protocols for both the guests’ and animals’ welfare.
We charge an entry fee of R10 per person on the weekdays and R5 on the weekends and public holidays. We have credit card facilities. Guests will need to be appropriately dressed for walking on grassy uneven ground. We recommend comfortable walking shoes. Sun block is recommended for the summer months. Guests with mobility issues are requested to be in touch with us well in advance so that we can prepare a satisfactory interaction suitable to their specific needs.

ADULT CHEETAH ENCOUNTER
Have the privilege to stroke and have a photo taken with one of our adult cheetah Ambassadors. Learn more about their natural history and conservation.

Adult Cheetah Encounters are normally available from 10h00 to 13h00 and 14h00 to 15h30. SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY AND ANIMAL DEPENDANT.
(GENERAL ENCOUNTERS) TUESDAYS: without a secured booking, public availability is highly limited as we prioritise time off and enrichment for our ambassador animals. Tours and the feeding tour are still available. We thank you for your understanding.

SPECIAL CHEETAH EXPERIENCE (SCE)
Spend some quality time with one of our adult male cheetahs and learn more about this African predator. During this 20 minutes experience, our Ambassador will be off lead at times for a unique photographic opportunity. You will be accompanied by two Handlers and two Back-handlers, who will be available to answer all your questions and give added information.

VIP PRIVATE CHEETAH ENCOUNTER
A more exclusive and intimate experience, where your group has the privilege of the cheetah and his handlers for the best part of 30 minutes for photographs and stroking, as well as a more comprehensive conversation on cheetahs and our conservation program.

FEEDING TOUR
The feeding tour offers the opportunity to watch our small animals being fed their afternoon meal. Guided tour of handlers feeding various species with a range of methods developed to encourage natural behaviors and body movement, such as jumping and climbing.

Booking is recommended. Feeding Tours take place at exactly 15H30. Please arrive by 15H15 in order to enable us to feed on time.
PHOTOSHOOT
An exclusive photographic session with one of our cheetahs supervised by our experienced Handlers. It normally takes place in our large recreational enclosure. Our large recreational enclosure offers a variety of backgrounds, we can also accommodate photoshoots underneath one of our boma shelters. The photoshoot can be commercial or private.
Price R6500 per hour or part thereof.
